Worden explained that the “awesome students and staff at Placer,” are her favorite part of working at Placer.
“They are the lifeblood of the campus, they make it fun, and that is why we do this work,” Stated Worden.
In high school, she was class president and also played soccer competitively. It is now a goal of Worden to have students be involved at Placer.
“There is not one club, sport, or activity that is more important than another one. All of them are great and the more involved students are, the better they feel,” said Worden.
Placer welcomed a second vice principal, Jeff Walters.
Before working at Placer, Walters was a head football coach, athletic director, and history teacher. Growing up Walters wanted to pursue many different careers. In fact, until his junior year in high school, he thought he would be a lawyer. But one thing he always came back to was to be a head football coach or teacher.
“It’s very rewarding to work with students, teachers, staff, and the committee,” stated Walters
